What is a Professional Organizer?
A Professional organizer is someone who provides information, products and/or services to help people get organized.

What does a Professional Organizer Do?
Professional organizers assist in many areas of organization including residential, business, time management, paper management, clutter
control, chronic disorganization, behavior modification, space planning, filing, coaching, wardrobes, closet systems, event planning, errands,
personal shopping, financial management, memorabilia/photographs, packing/moving, records management, training, computers, kitchens,
public speaking/seminars/training, home offices, corporate offices, etc. Professional organizers may be very specific offering only a couple of
services or they may be general and offer a wide array of organizing services.

Why do I need a Professional Organizer?

Organizing is more than just straightening up, if you don't understand why you accumulate, it will come back again.  A professional organizer
helps to discover the cause of disorganization, and provides a solution to create a lasting change in your environment and your organizational
habits.

Where do the work sessions take place?
Work sessions take place in your home or office.

How many hours does it take to organize?
That depends on the size of the room or project, its condition, and your motivation level. Generally, a small office, bedroom, closet, or kitchen
pantry will take only a few hours. Larger areas, such as garages, attics, and basements, often take longer.

What if I feel embarrassed about my mess?
There is no need to feel embarrassed! As professionals, we're here to help, not judge and all services provided by Hansen Turner Solutions
are confidential.

Do I have to throw away my things? Who decides what I can keep?
What does or does not go is your decision alone.  There will be no pressure put on you to throw any of your things away.

Can my children be at home while we organize?
Sure. But, please keep in mind you are paying for the service, and young children may increase the length of time to complete the project. We
recommend that you have a spouse or friend watch younger children. When organizing older children's rooms, we encourage their involvement
as this allows them to acquire helpful organizing skills that will be useful to them in the future.

My whole house needs organizing. Where do we start?
We'll evaluate your house, and prioritize the projects together. We might begin in an area that causes you the most stress, or an area that is
critical to your family or office.  We often suggest that you start with the most visible areas such as desk or counter tops. The sense of
accomplishment you will experience will encourage you to continue on with future projects. Once we understand your needs, we can help you
to determine where to begin.

How much does it cost?
The cost will depend on the amount of work, and the length of time required to complete the project. We will determine how to best meet your
needs while staying within your budget.
